Green gardens, white walls, comfortable furniture and the refreshing swimming-pool bring life to this Parador which is located near to all the important centres, and is ideal for meetings and relaxation.

Antequera, with its set of dolmens, one of the best preserved in the world, is also a Baroque enclave. The richness of its lands and the originality of El Torcal ensure the authenticity of its cuisine: "gazpacho" (cold Andalusian soup), "porras antequeranas" (vegetable dip), "pío" (cod dish) and "bienmesabe" (a type of sponge-cake).

Due to seasonal closure no bookings at this Parador will be possible from 19 Nov 2007 to 1 March 2008.

Prices shown are per person (sharing standard twin room) per night on a Bed & Buffet Breakfast basis, excluding tax (IVA).

Important note

In line with their policy of continuous improvement, Paradores de Turismo de España advise that this Parador will be closed from 08 Jan 2007 to 01 Oct 2008.

No bookings at this Parador will be possible during these times.

Notes on prices

All prices are for standard rooms and are subject to Spanish tax (IVA), currently - as at October 2007 - 7% for Paradors on the mainland, 5% for the Paradors in the Canary Islands, 3% for Ceuta and 2% for Melilla. Supplements for superior rooms/ rooms with views (e.g. sea views)/ suites, etc, available on request.

The prices shown may be changed at any time during the year, and are subject to major fluctuations in exchange rates. However, no currency surcharge whatsoever will be made in respect of any booking for which full payment is received within 14 days of the invoice date.

Single rooms
Normally a twin or double room for single occupancy is provided. Single room rates (on B & B) basis are approximately 50% higher than the 'per person' rates shown (except at Granada where no reduction applies) .

Triple rooms
Normally an extra bed is provided in a twin or double room. The reduction for the third person (on B & B) basis is approximately 30% of the 'per person' rates shown.

Child reductions
Reductions apply to the triple room rates for a child aged 12 and under, sharing their parents' room as follows:

50% off the adult meal prices.

The 4 Paradors in the Canary Islands from January to June and November to December.
Arties and Viella from January to March, 04 to 08 April (inclusive), July to October and December.
All other Paradors from 04 to 08 April (inclusive) and from July to October.

50% off the 3rd person supplement at:

Arties and Viella in April to June (excluding 04 to 08 April) and November.
The 4 Paradors in the Canary Islands from July to October and 04 to 08 April.
All other Paradors from January to June (excluding 04 to 08 April inclusive) and November to December.

There is no charge for a cot for a child of up to 2 years.

Halfboard supplement (lunch or dinner):
£20.00 - £21.00 per person plus IVA (approximately, depending on the Parador) for a 3-course 'menu del dia', excluding drinks. At the 5-star Paradors in León and Santiago de Compostela, the Halfboard supplement is £23.50 + IVA
